Despite recent progress on the European Union and the United Kingdom talk up chances of securing a deal with the hope to deliver a pragmatic outcome, politicians also plan for a worst case scenario, and advise companies to be prepared for "disruption".

AS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM FACES THE FINAL STAGE OF THE BREXIT NEGOTIATIONS, ESCP'S LONDON CAMPUS PROUDLY SUPPORTS THE BREXIT FORUM SERIES – AN EXCLUSIVE MEMBER-TO-MEMBER EVENT ORGANISED BY THE FRENCH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN GREAT BRITAIN (CCFGB).

Die Europäische Union will die Gründung sogenannter Europäischer Hochschulen vorantreiben. In einem am 24. Oktober 2018 veröffentlichten Call for Proposals werden Universitäten aufgefordert, entsprechende Projektideen einzureichen. Die EU stellt zunächst 30 Millionen Euro im Rahmen des Programms Erasmus+ für den Start zur Verfügung. Der Rektor der ESCP Berlin, Prof. Andreas Kaplan, hat fünf Thesen aufgestellt, warum die Zeit für eine Europäische Hochschule reif ist. 

Once again this year, from 25 to 26 October 2018, the Start@Europe seminar took place at the European Parliament. It allows ESCP Master in Management students to understand the spirit and modalities of European negotiation.

Sponsored by the French General Secretary for the Citizen consultations, this project permitted to 353 students to express themselves about the past, the present and the future of the European Union.

Divided into small groups (about 10 students per group), the students took part in 2 thematic workshops they had chosen beforehand among the following possibilities: agriculture, ecology, economy, politics and citizenship, mobility and migration, health, defence and security, justice, education, culture.

Labellisé par le Secrétariat général pour les Consultations citoyennes, ce projet a ainsi permis à 353 étudiants de s’exprimer sur le passé, le présent et l’avenir de l’Union Européenne.

Répartis en petits groupes d’une dizaine de personnes, les étudiants ont ainsi pris part à deux ateliers thématiques de leur choix, et ce parmi les sujets suivants : Agriculture, Ecologie, Economie, Politique et citoyenneté, Mobilité et migration, Santé, Défense et sécurité, Justice, Education, Culture.

Cette année encore, Start@Europe, qui se déroule du 25 au 26 octobre au Parlement européen, permettra aux étudiants de ESCP de comprendre l’esprit et les modalités de la négociation européenne.

On last Friday, Tribunes ESCP a student society, organized european citizen consultations for pre-master students. To open this morning's debate on Europe, Nathalie Loiseau, Minister for European Affairs, sent a personal message to ESCP students.

The objective of this moment was to give a voice to the first actors of the school - the students - on a subject - Europe - which is the foundation of ESCP's values and identity.

Campus Dean Professor Simon Mercado remarks: “Through this established mechanism for member engagement, the Chamber is providing our sectors and organisations with great insight and an environment through which we can share intelligence and discuss collective action on this major development.  It is absolutely fitting that ESCP, which has had a strong voice on Brexit, associates itself as sponsor with this key CCFGB Forum.”
