Silvia Dalla Fontana is an Assistant Professor of Finance at ESCP Business School.

Her research focuses on the financing of high-growth startups and examines the frictions that arise between these firms and venture capital (VC) investors.

In 2022, she was a visiting scholar at Imperial College Business School. During her doctoral studies, she participated in the NBER Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and was a member of the WEFI Fellow Program on entrepreneurial finance and innovation.

She earned her PhD in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute in Lugano.
